These are settings of two Robert Frost poems: Come In and The Freedom Of The Moon. I am attracted to Frost’s poetry because it gives so much space for the reader or listener to breath. That certainly influenced my treatment of these two poems: the textures are as sparse as possible to allow the baritone soloist plenty of space to lead us through the words and show us the beauty of Frost’s language.
